Just life

I woke up fighting the same head cold I have been fighting all week and just didn't think it was going to be a good day.  Dishes and laundry were coming out my ears and the dust bunnies were forming an army.  Not to mention that we have been on the run to ball practices or other activities all week.  I was exhausted!  Now here I sit and I am having a nostalgic moment.    At some point in the day I decided that the laundry could wait and that the dust bunnies could just go ahead and revolt.  I was going to enjoy whatever came my way.  This day went from blah to one of those days that you don't want to forget. No, nothing extraordinary happened, just those little moments of life that you wish you could store away and remember forever:  James riding his bike around the house on the driveway... Playing ball in the yard with James and Anna...Emily getting all of her stuff together to feed her heifer... Cara laying out on the deck (even tho it is NOT warm enough!)...Bill driving his tractor around, finishing his chores... Me mowing the grass, listening to an ipod... Like I said, nothing exciting - just life! These small moments reminded me how blessed I am.  Yes, my darling children can make me crazy but they also make me happy and proud.  I'm so glad my gloomy outlook this morning did not stay throughout the day!

My Debut

So here it is.  The debut of my personal blog.  I have had an educational blog for some time now but I have often thought how fun it would be to share the craziness that goes on in my household!  I mean, we watch that stuff on T.V. all the time - so why wouldn't my craziness be any less entertaining? Right?  Anyway,  I have been inspired by my mom's blog, My Loves, My Life to start this personal blog.  So the next time you are in need of a laugh or a cry just tune in to this crazy channel and we will go from there!

P.S.  The title? My kids say that I repeat it often and since this blog will 9 times out of 10 be about them I thought it fit well!
